Since our official opening in 2019, we have been passionate about sharing the joy of surfing with our community. Our mission is to inspire smiles and foster a love for the ocean, one wave at a time. We invite everyone to join us in this exciting journey and discover the thrill of surfing in a responsible and environmentally conscious way.

Our Founder

Neil Marwick is a surfing legend! (That is an understatement!)

He was on the forefront of how surfing developed through the years. It all started in 1964 at age 12 when he started surfing on a board he built himself.

In 1974 while on a road trip in search of waves he and some friends surfed Stilbaai for the first time late one afternoon after being surprised by the beauty of the waves. At this time Stilbaai was not known for its waves and definitely was not a big surfing spot! In 1987 he organised the first surf contest in Stilbaai.

Through his years of surfing he was part of many ventures and was a iconic influencer in the surfing community. He has vast experience in board manufacturing, surf sales and coaching. From these coaching is his passion, as a Provincial South African Surfer that placed third at SA Masters surfing Championship, he was a rightfull fit to coach Boland Grommit team at SA championships and Boland junior team at SA junior championships.

“I have surfed as much as possible since 1964 and still surf. Only injury has ever stopped me from surfing for any extended period of time. It is my desire to pass this information on in a possitve manner that will enhance the future of surfing and surfers”

“Surfing is a great equalizer that people from all backgrounds can enjoy, in the water we are all the same”
