Lappiesbaai is a beginner friendly surf spot on the main beach of Stilbaai. It can however become difficult to break through to the backline in bigger surf.

Steentjie

Situated next to the harbour, Steentjie is one of the most popular beach break that is beginner friendly. It is also liked especially by longboarders. Works best at high tide.

Wind strength: All

Morris Reef

Morris Reef, the main surfing attraction of Stilbaai. This spot is situated around rocks and is for Advanced surfers. Works best when the tide is not too low.

Swell direction: S to SW

Wind direction: W to SW

Wind strength: Light up to Strong

Dolphins

Hidden to the West of Morris Reef, Dolpins is a fun spot for Advanced surfers. It can work when the other spots are letting you down. This reef break works best at high tide.

KG

Situated on the Eastern edge of Jongensfontein, KG’s is known for its powerful rip currents and easy paddle. Intermediate surfers enjoy this spot.

Wind direction: NE to NW

Wind strength: Light

Jongens point

The main spot in Jongensfontein, this reef break works best at low tide and is a frequent for Intermediate surfers.
